Garth Brooks Concert

Mountain was please to take part in building the stage for the Garth Brooks Concert in Salt Lake City.

Working with Stout Builders and Frontline Concrete, our team recently set 141 concrete panels with our LR1600. Each of the massive 55 ft. tall panels averaged 220,000 lbs.

Pulling this 30k lb communications tower up the mountain with rugged 8-10% grades and narrow switchbacks took extra planning and a safety conscious crew. After the safe delivery to the site it was handed off to our crane operator and 9000 E crane to set it successfully in place.

Mountain currently has ongoing projects at 5 additional temples in the U.S. Pictured below, our crews carefully set the “Angel Moroni” Statue atop the Saratoga Springs Temple. Absolute precision was needed as our 275 ton held the statue and our 300 ton held the man basket within just a few feet of each other.

Our 500 ton and crew were on-site making improvements to a water treatment facility by upgrading the treatment process with new equipment. They worked on 4 different bio reactors. In the end it means cleaner water and less pollutants.

With new technology the caboose of a train has become a thing of the past. A group of historians worked to save this piece of history. With an audience of locals in this small town, Our 350 ton Grove crane and crew placed the caboose in its new home.
