Workin' on the railroad, we're drivin' pile in the summer sun! Our team makes sure to make the most of their time, battling 108 degrees and taking intermittent breaks for trains. Placing 36 different piles in 18 different locations along the Devil's Slide pass. We will spend the next several days setting the pile, with our 200 ton Liebherr-1160 crawler. Once in place, there will be an 18 hour curfew to allow the old tracks to be removed; set two 50,000 lb. girders and rebuild the tracks. Lastly and with gratitude, help from Allen Engineering and Union Pacific RR we will keep those trains workin' on the railroad!
