Our Special Projects Team transported massive wind turbine blades from Casper, Wyoming, to Lexington, Oregon. Using our three-axle Fayville trailers with Peterbilt tractors, we transported blades that stretched 205 feet from root to tip and weighed over 32,000 pounds each. We had three pilot vehicles: a lead pilot, a rear pilot, and a rear steersman who manually steered the trailer through tight corners. The journey spanned three states, and we delivered those blades safely!
