Mountain Crane Service performed a three crane lift, using a Grove 550, a Liebherr 500, and a Grove 275. Working with RMF, Mountain Crane used the three cranes to lift and place a large spray dryer filtration system.
The Grove 550 and the Liebherr 500 lifted the piece up, while the Grove 275 rotated it. Once the piece was rightside up, the 275 was released, and the two larger cranes were able to place the piece in position. The 123,000 pound iron dryer was 61 feet tall, 55 feet across, and was set at a 70 foot radius.
