Park City Tower Build Up
Tower cranes are a little different from the mobile cranes we typically highlight from our fleet. They are semi-permanent cranes where the bases are bolted to a concrete foundation and re torqued as necessary. The horizontal jib is attached to a vertical tower and the trolley travels along the jib, providing a flexible work radius. The jib can rotate 360 degrees around the mast (this motion is called slewing). These cranes are assembled by a mobile crane, such as our 500 ton all terrain. Mountain Crane has a skilled assembly crew comprised of experienced ironworkers and operating engineers. We also have veteran operators who assist our customers with the operation of their tower cranes.
