John Carter Movie Premiere

In May 2010, Mountain Crane Service was invited to help on the movie set for Disney/ Pixar’s production of ―John Carter of Mars, the first segment of a trilogy based on Edgar Rice Burrough’s Barsoom series. The film will debut March 9, 2012 which is a 100th year anniversary of the story’s first publication. Scenes will include shots of Lake Powell, Moab, and Delta. Mountain Crane’s 500 Ton Demag AC1300 All Terrain Crane was utilized to place equipment on set with as little of an impact to the environment as possible.
