Atop the beautiful mountains of Cedar City, Utah, and at 10,800 feet, our team reached new heights as we took our Grove 350-ton crane to its maximum boom length in order to set a 3,500 lb. radio tower.
Getting safely to the job site was our first challenge and priority. With steep grades and hairpin turns, trucks could not be used. All equipment was brought in with 6 lines of our self-propelled Goldhofer modular transporter. Once on-site, our 350-ton crane utilized 2 inserts, jib, and main boom totaling nearly 400 feet!
