Mountain Crane company employees are now Qualified Riggers and Signalpersons, according to OSHA 1926.1400. We hosted a crane rigging and safety management course including, presenters from Construction Safety Experts. The course covered safe rigging, selection/inspection of hardware and rigging, sling angles, hitches, center of gravity, and wire rope use. Furthermore, hand and radio signal communication, crane set up and inspection, leveling, use of blocking and outriggers, ground stability, radius, boom length and angle, rated strength and stability.

Coupled with, extended reach and standard forklift equipment operator certification. All the information presented was based on highlights of the manufacturer’s recommendations, ANSI A10.42, best practices and ASME standards.
