Lifting an A Frame Historic Trestle

Lifting an A Frame Historic Trestle

This A frame historic trestle once stood as the head shaft trestle at the Daly West Mine in Park City, Utah. It is 85' and weighs 76,000 lbs. Also, the mine shaft was 2100' deep. In 2010, while completing Montage Deer Valley, the A frame started to lean severely. It was discovered that many abandoned mine shafts were causing unstable ground. This trestle is apart of the historical registry!
