Changing Cab Glass at 320 Feet

Changing Cab Glass at 320 Feet

High above the bustling operations of Salt Lake City International Airport, the traffic control tower stands as a sentinel of air traffic management, ensuring smooth operations for countless flights. At 320 feet, the logistics of changing out the glass became significantly more complex. The height alone presented challenges in terms of access and safety. Additionally, working at such elevations required specialized equipment and techniques to ensure that both the equipment and personnel were secure, all while keeping flight operations running! The LTM 1350, renowned for its versatility and capacity, makes it an ideal choice for tasks such as this. For the Salt Lake City Interntational Airport project, the crane was used to lift and position the replacement glass panels with the precision needed for a perfect fit. The successful completion of this project not only demonstrates the capabilities of the LTM 1350 but also reflects the dedication and expertise of the teams involved in maintaining the essential components of our air traffic control systems.
