Liebherr LTM 1160-5.1 and Specifications
The Liebherr LTM 1160 all-terrain mobile crane has a maximum lift capacity of 160 tons, and a maximum telescoping boom length of 203 feet, with a lattice jib extending to a titanic 141 feet in length. This is Liebherr’s first crane to use compressed air disc brakes which promise an enhanced braking performance and result in optimized directional stability of the vehicle. It is powered by a Liebherr 6-cylinder Turbocharged engine, has a maximum speed of 50mph, and has a five-axle 10×8×10 drive configuration. Liebherr currently produces the LTM 1160 – 1, -2, and the 1160-5.1 each of which incorporate feature upgrades and improvements over prior models.
