Temple Tower

Utah

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Tower at the Temple
After closing in 2019 for major renovation, the work continues on the historic Salt Lake City temple for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Built by early pioneer settlers in the 1800s, the temple is undergoing several upgrades, including a significant seismic update. Our team has been on site for multiple phases of this four-year project. This past month our tower crews assembled the tower crane that will sit on the North side of the construction site. Our 500-ton crane hoisted all sections of the Peiner SK575 from the ground up. Located in the heart of the city, this tower crane was assembled safety and quickly with minimal lane closures.
